Our Activities
World Israel Beytenu works to promote its ideals and in favor of the members of the community that have chosen it. To further its interests, the Movement has many tools at its disposal. For example, representatives in the World Zionist Federation’s Executive, in KKL-JNF and more. Additionally, the Movement’s leadership takes an active part in the Knesset committees, in lobbying groups and in numerous conferences. World Israel Beytenu organizes local activities with special emphasis on political events with the potential for influencing Diaspora Jewry.
“World Israel Beytenu” at the 39th World Zionist Congress (Jerusalem, 2025)
The 39th World Zionist Congress took place in Jerusalem on October 28–30, 2025 — the direct heir to Herzl’s First Congress in Basel.
Plenary sessions, panel discussions, and committee work addressed core issues for Israel and the Jewish world. For the first time, new Zionist federations were presented from Moldova, Belarus, and Azerbaijan, alongside fresh initiatives in Uganda and several Latin American countries.
At the Congress, the party “Israel Beytenu” was represented by the worldwide movement “World Israel Beytenu”. Our delegation brought together several dozen participants from Azerbaijan, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, the United States, Canada, Kazakhstan, and beyond.
Important, substantive resolutions were adopted. Nearly all plenary decisions aligned with the positions of “World Israel Beytenu”, and our movement played a major role in securing their passage. During the Congress, our Chairman Dmitry Shchiglik was publicly recognized and received an honorary distinction — a proud milestone for “World Israel Beytenu”.
Our takeaway: when we come prepared and work across the aisle without compromising our principles, we move the Zionist movement forward.
